Grossmont Healthcare District is commited to meeting East County's healthcare needs.

Grossmont Healthcare District strives to provide the best resources and information to meet your health care needs.

The Dr. William C. Herrick Community Health Care Library at Briercrest Park provides East County residents easy access to reliable medical information. It is a comprehensive consumer health library that is free, open to the public, and accessible via the Internet.

Nonprofit, health-related organizations can utilize the 65-seat Conference Center. Smaller meeting rooms are also available.

Grossmont Hospital’s new high-tech Emergency and Critical Care Center, with its many improvements and increased capacity, opened in September 2004 and is greatly benefitting the public.

The District will continue its commitment to provide grants and sponsorships to help fund non-profit health-related organizations. In recognition of the need for more and better trained health care workers, the District grants scholarships to pharmacy and radiology technicians, student nurses, and outstanding high school seniors.

You are invited to attend our monthly meetings and periodic health fairs. Your comments and recommendations are encouraged.
