Our Mission

As stewards of the public trust, the Grossmont Healthcare District will preserve and protect those resources entrusted to its care.

To maintain and improve the physical and mental health of its constituents, the Grossmont Healthcare District will:

• Monitor the health care services provided under contract at Grossmont Hospital to assure that patient's needs are met and that their reasonable expectations are exceeded.

• Anticipate and recognize the unmet health care needs of the communities we serve, and provide suitable services to satisfy those otherwise unmet needs to the greatest possible extent consistent with available resources.
