Grossmont Healthcare District and East County Chamber of Commerce present Super Health Saturday on Saturday, April 22, 2006.
The Grossmont Healthcare District and the San Diego East County Chamber of Commerce will present Super Health Saturday, the East County's largest free health fair, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, April 22, at the Grossmont Center shopping center, 5500 Grossmont Center Dr., La Mesa.
Free health screenings for diabetes, blood pressure and stroke prevention will be available near the Pacific Theaters, along with more than 50 exhibit booths featuring Chamber members, including physicians, healthcare providers and representatives offering information about the latest health treatments and technologies for healthier lives.
Additional information will be available
on senior housing, hospice care, health insurance, sleep disorders, home safety,
herbal supplements, fitness, nutrition and laser eye surgery, as well as careers
in medicine and Medicare information. The American Red Cross Bloodmobile also
will conduct a blood drive.
