-- Dr. William C. Herrick Community Health Care Library in La Mesa notes 5 year birthday
The Dr. William C. Herrick Community Health Care Library in La Mesa, a public library specializing in healthcare information, has reached its five-year anniversary. The library, located at 9001Wakarusa St., opened in May 2002. A public celebration is planned for this summer, according to Kathy Quinn, library director.
Quinn said the library’s monthly visitor count has risen consistently this year to the highest levels in the library’s history. The library offers free health related resources, including an extensive selection of on-line information to consumers, and is open Tuesdays through Saturdays.
